Neil is the first product I developed for Le Faboratoire.

The light head can be oriented from top to bottom and left to right. It is equipped with a LED bulb saving energy while keeping a low temperature. This avoids the bioplastic of the 3D printed body to melt at the contact of the bulb.

The original philosophy behind Le Faboratoire was to offer locally made products that can both be purchased in their final physical form or in their pre-production digital form. If purchased digitally, a whole set of instructions is given to the client to locally source materials, self-produce parts (via local fablabs for instance) and easily assemble elements (with a very restricted set of tools).

That way, consumers would become actors of their consumptions, giving them the satisfaction of doing it themselves and therefore a profound respect for the product synonymous of lifespan extension.
