Back in 2012, I made my first CNC ! Ten years later, I thought it was the right time to upgrade this machine in order to make it an experimental platform.
This platform is a 3 axes CNC equiped to receive any type of head, would it be to print with conductive ink, to water score paper, to 3D print plaster or any other research idea that would come to mind. For ease of use, it is Arduino powered and entirely dismantlable.
This machine is the first of a series I am planning to build within one of my research projects at UQAM. This research aims to explore the aesthetic potentialities of non-conventional digital manufacturing.
